Have you ever visited a website that tells you to use a different browser? Are you a web-developer and want to know how your website looks in Internet Explorer without actually using the Microsoft browser? The IE Tab extension enables browsing the web in Chrome just like with IE.
Some websites detect Google Chrome as a different browser and display a warning that you should upgrade to a newer version of Internet Explorer or Mozilal Firefox. Some other websites even block visitors that are not using Internet Explorer. If you want to visit those websites but are not willing to give up your Chrome browser, just install the IE TAB extension. IE Tab launches Internet Explorer in a tab of Google Chrome and lets you pretend to use Internet Explorer.
Important: This Chrome extension works on Windows only!
