The premise of Flight is quite simple. You throw a paper plane and you attempt to keep the plane flying for as long as possible and cover the maximum distance. But it’s the game play mechanics coupled with the sweet story which make you play the game over and over again.
Installing this game is a cake walk. Simply go to the Google Web Store and search for ‘Flight’ then click on the ‘Add to Chrome’ button. The game can be started by clicking on the Flight icon in the apps section of the home page.
The story of Flight isn’t very complicated, but it’s enough to make you smile while at the same time, spur you along to complete the game. The story begins with a little girl who sees her neighbour receive a Christmas gift from her mother. This compels her to write a letter to Santa Clause, wishing to see her mother this Christmas. She then folds the paper into a paper plane and launches it out of her window. It is your job to make sure that the paper plane reaches its destination. On your way, you will encounter colourful characters in each of the 5 countries you visit.
The game play is quite straightforward. Your ‘throw’ the place using the mouse and as you fly you will get to collect certain power-ups which you give your plane certain bonuses such as increased velocity, money, etc. The money that you collect will let you upgrade your place with engines, bonuses and even a complete design overhaul. What will happen when the plane finally reaches its destination? Will the little girl’s wish come true? Looks like you are going to have to play this game to find out.
