Managing your extensions on Google Chrome can be a pain, especially if you have a load of extensions. Extensions Manager (aka Switcher) lets you manage all your extensions at the drop of a hat. Letting you enable and disable them via a simple pop up rather than through the settings page. It also keeps a tab on outdated extensions and provides you with an update.

To install this handy extension, visit the Google Chrome Web Store and do a search for ‘Extensions Manager (aka Switcher)’. Then click on ‘Add to Chrome’ to install it. You can access the extension by clicking on the ‘switch’ icon found next to the ‘wrench’ icon used to customise and control Google Chrome. Clicking on the extension brings up a pop up. Here you can see a list of everything that you have installed on to Google Chrome. You can choose to see all of them or just the extensions, applications or themes. The pop up not only shows you the name of the extension, but also a picture of the icon and a short description. But the main part is the options that you are given. The ‘X’ icon right next to then extensions lets you delete them. The check box lets you enable or disable an extension with a simple click while the gear icon lets you see the options of the particular extension.

Right clicking on the Extensions Manager icon and click on ‘options’ lets you configure Extensions Manager. Here you have the option to change many things, such as the initial type of view, the notification timeout, pop up width, and many more. All these qualities make Extension Manager (aka Switcher) a must have extension for those of you who frequently visit the Google Chrome Web Store.
